Escorted tour of Old Jewish Ghetto Area, the Ohel Moishe Synagogue, the Bund, Yu Garden, Huxinting Tea House, Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
The Ohel Moishe Synagogue was established in 1907, after some renovating work, it reopens to the public in 2008 as the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum. The Ohel Moishe Synagogue and all the Old Jewish Ghetto Area at the north of the Bund still explain the history of the Jews in Shanghai during the Second World War.
The Bund is a waterfront area in central Shanghai, it runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. The Bund in Shanghai has dozens of historical buildings, the Peace Hotel which was built by Sir Victor Sassoon, and numerous banks and trading houses from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Italy, Russia, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as the consulates of Russia and Britain, North China Daily News Building, the Shanghai Club and the Masonic Club. At the beginning of 20th century, the Bund became a major financial hub of East Asia.  From 2008, reconstruction of the Bund roadway was carried out, the renovation work did not break the original structure, all the historical buildings are well protected, but more convenient for travellers to stroll on the Bund.
Yu Garden is the most quiet place which hided in the south corner of the city, the adjacent area is known as old city in Shanghai, you may taste all the most traditional Chinese food in the big bazaar at old city street. Yu Garden was first built in 1559, and renowned as a traditional Jiangnan (south of the Yangtze River) garden, if time does not permit you to visit the gardens in Suzhou, Yu Garden in Shanghai would be an excellent alternative. There are six main tourist sections in Yu Garden, each section has its own special sights. From the rockery at the entry, to inner buildings, corridors, rivers, bridges, stone carvings, everything is exquisite.
Huxinting Tea House is just out of the main gate of the Yu Garden in the middle of the lake, and connects with the bank by a zigzag bridge. The lake and the pavilion originally constructed in the Ming Dynasty as a part of the Yu Garden. In 1855, during the reign of Emperor Xian feng of the Qing Dynasty, the pavilion was made into a teahouse, it is still in operation as the oldest teahouse in Shanghai.
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong, the eastern bank of the Huangpu River, facing the Bund. This 468 meters (1,536 feet) high tower is ranking as one of the world's tallest TV and radio towers, and it is a landmark of Shanghai. The base of the tower is supported by three seven-meter wide slanting stanchions, there are three decorative spheres on the tower base.  The highest sphere (known as the Space Module) is at 350 m (1148 ft). At the 267 m (876 ft) level, there is a revolving restaurant. The 263 m (863 ft) high outdoor observation deck on the second highest sphere is the place for you to experience walking on a cloud. The lowest sphere is the 'Space City' at 90 m (295 ft). Visitors travel up and down the tower in double-decker elevators that can hold up to fifty people at the rate of seven meters per second. The elevator attendants recite an introduction to the TV Tower in English and Chinese during the ascent.
